As Primary Care Manager, Ms Samways brings over a decade of experience in Primary Care within the NHS, having held senior practice management roles across Somerset. She has spent more than five years leading a practice actively involved in managing a practice involved in medical research programmes and clinical trials, giving her a strong foundation in research governance, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Her expertise spans marketing, communications, governance, and research methodology, enabling her to bridge operational delivery with strategic development across Coral Futures’ programmes and initiatives. An avid diver with a lifelong passion for the environment and animal welfare, she brings both professional insight and personal commitment to ocean protection. Her broad skill set and deep understanding of health systems, research operations, and community engagement make her a key driving force behind the work of Coral Futures Research & Innovation Centre.
