New Nonprofit “Coral Futures Research & Innovation Centre” Launches Ahead of Charity Commission Approval to Accelerate Global Coral Conservation
A new organisation dedicated to coral conservation, climate resilience, and marine science innovation has launched as Coral Futures Research & Innovation Centre. The nonprofit is currently awaiting final registration as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with the UK Charity Commission, but its work has already begun due to the urgent need to protect coral reefs.
Coral Futures will soon launch its first public campaign, calling on governments, research institutions, and global leaders to scale up funding and commit to climate-resilient reef solutions. Supporters, scientists, students, and partners are invited to follow the initiative and get involved at this critical early stage.
Coral Futures Research & Innovation Centre is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring coral reefs through science, innovation, and collaboration. Its goal is to make conservation more adaptive, accessible, and future-focused — driven not only by urgency, but by hope.
